Products such as Crystal Enterprise and Crystal Reports Server offer powerful ways for organisations to provide comprehensive reporting systems to internal and external users.  With browser based interfaces users simply have to point and click to run their reports. 

Microsoft's SQL Server Report Services (SSRS) is starting to gain ground as an alternative to Crystal Reports and Crystal Enterprise.  Developers used to working with other Microsoft products will rapidly learn this reporting software.
